With just months remaining on his deal at the club, Folarin Balogun looks set to become the latest Arsenal player to leave for free at the end of his contract.
The Gunners have seen similar situations play out in the past, with the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Alexis Sanchez both leaving amid uncertainty over a new deal.
Balogun, 19, will become a free agent at the end of the season and thus far has shown no indication he wishes to extend his stay in North London.
Despite being highly rated by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, the striker has struggled to break into the first-team, with his appearances limited to the Carabao Cup and Europa League.
