Arsenal are set to significantly increase their offer for Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar according to our colleagues at football.london.
The Gunners saw their first offer for the 22-year-old rejected out of hand on Friday, with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas - one of the toughest negotiators in the transfer market - even taking to Twitter to confirm that the Gunners had come up short.
Aouar has now been included in Lyon's squad to take on Lorient in Ligue 1 on Sunday, and as far as Aulas is concerned that means he will be staying at the club.
