Arsenal have now lost four back-to-back Premier League home games for the first time since 1959 as Burnley took advantage of Granit Xhaka's red card to seal a deserved victory at the Emirates.
After a dreadful first half, the Gunners were beginning to dominate only for Xhaka to be sent off with 58 minutes on the clock, a VAR check confirming he grabbed Ashley Westwood around the throat.
That ultimately hindered the Gunners and the visiting Clarets took the lead when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, on a barren run in front of goal, headed into his own net with 17 minutes to play.
Despite Arsenal piling the pressure on, Sean Dyche's men held on to secure a much-need victory which moves them out of the bottom three.
