Arrogant couple slapped with fine after parking on pedestrian crossing

A couple dubbed 'Mr and Mrs Privilege' after parking their SUV on a pedestrian crossing were slapped with a ticket after being spotted by a police officer.

The pair were handed a fine after stopping on a pedestrian crossing in Barrow, near Loughborough, on Friday (March 24). A policeman drove by as they were rowing with people who asked them to move.

The driver allegedly put on his hazard warning lights and dashed into a nearby Co-op. One witness told the woman left waiting in the passenger seat that they could not stop there before being met with backlash and abuse. It has since received more than 230 comments and more than 1,000 likes. He wrote: "Met a delightful couple in the village today.
