The movie star and former governor of California noted in the lengthy video message that he was born in Austria two years after the end of Word War II, but his family faced the repercussions from his father, who served as a Nazi.Schwarzenegger said he grew up among the impact ofKristallnacht, which he described as "a night of rampage against the Jews carried out in 1938 by the Nazi equivalent of the Proud Boys." "Wednesday was the Day of Broken Glass right here in the United States," Schwarzenegger said.
