Armed police locked down a street in Edinburgh amid an emergency incident. Lochend Road South in the east of the city was closed off around 9pm on Sunday, December 11.
Locals reported seeing five police vehicles at the scene. Both uniformed and armed officers were in attendance, reports Edinburgh Live.
The cause of the incident has not been made clear. Police Scotland have been approached for comment by the Daily Record.
