Ashley Banjo has spoken of his heartbreak after his beloved dog died a few days ago after a short illness. The dancer and Dancing On Ice judge announced on Instagram on Wednesday evening that his dog KP had died at the age of almost 11 and spoke of how it broke his heart “to lose her so suddenly”. Posting a gallery of photos showing KP throughout her life, Ashley captioned the images: “KP Banjo 4/4/11 - 5/2/22 “This one hurts a lot… I can never replace you sweetie and it breaks my heart to lose you so suddenly.The same day she fell ill is the same day we lost her.

I was surrounded by such an amazing team of people, learnt so much and made memories to last a lifetime."She added: "It definitely wasn’t the start @brendynhatfield and I had hoped for but I'm so so proud of what we achieved together and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better partner."Just the most gorgeous human… kind, patient and so incredibly talented, it was such a pleasure to learn from you everyday and I've most definitely made a friend for life, thank you for everything."I also want to say a huge thank you for all your messages of love and support throughout my time at DOI it really has meant so much."A huge thank you to all the @clodaghb2b and all the production team.

Oti Mabuse is "set to return" to Dancing on Ice for a second season after her fantastic debut as a judge.The former Strictly star has become quite a hit on the show after taking over from John Barrowman who was sacked. The 31-year-old professional dancer has impressed ITV bosses with her "positive energy and warmth", with fans adoring her contribution to the skating competition.In an exclusive chat a source told The Sun: "Oti has been asked to return for next year.
