Ariana DeBose denies that she is taking sides in the alleged feud between her West Side Story co-star Rachel Zegler and the Platt family. Rachel starred in the movie Snow White, which was produced by Marc Platt.

In addition to producing movies like Wicked, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins Returns, and Dear Evan Hansen, he has also made movies like Legally Blonde, Josie and the Pussycats, and La La Land. Marc‘s son Jonah Platt took to Instagram last week and accused Rachel of hurting the film’s box office by making political statements. “Narcissism is not something to be coddled or encouraged,” Jonah ended his statement, which has since been deleted. Ariana shocked fans when she posted that exact quote to her Instagram Stories, though she has since deleted the post after becoming aware of its origin.
