Cops swooped on a Glasgow bar last night after a man was seriously injured in an alleged assault.Officers rushed to Hope Street, outside the Solid Rock Cafe, at around 5.10pm on Friday February 17 following reports of an altercation.
Glasgow Live reports paramedics were called and a 27-year-old man was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.Police have since confirmed a 39-year-old man was arrested following the incident.
He has since been charged and is expected to appear in court on Monday.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5.10pm on Friday, 17 February, 2023 officers received a report a man had been assaulted on Hope Street, Glasgow.
The 27-year-old was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and he is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 20 February."
