Hardware retailers are classed as essential so are allowed to remain open under Scottish Government rules which came into force on January 5.All Scottish B&Q and Homebase retailers are open and are also available for click and collect.Both DIY chains have put some shopping rules in place so that everyone stays safe while in store.The B&Q website states: "In line with Government guidance, online planning appointments are available at all stores.
