The transfer speculation surrounding Ardon Jashari is intensifying after the Luzern captain changed his agent. Jashari, who was a surprise inclusion in the Switzerland squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, has been linked with Celtic, Leeds United and RB Leipzig, with a January move on the cards for the 20-year-old, who is thought to be valued at around £5million by the Swiss club.

And he’s been making changes off the pitch after signing up with a new representative. Mathias Walther will now handle Jashari’s affairs when it comes to media and marketing, reports Luzerne Zeitung, working alongside current agent Agron Krasniqi.

Walther has worked with national team colleagues Breel Embolo and Xherdan Shaqiri for several years. Adding a high profile agent to his team could suggest that Jashari is laying the groundwork for a move to a bigger club in the near future, and the player admits he's aware of Celtic’s interest.

However, with several clubs circling and a move to the Scottish Premiership a possibility, he insists he’s solely focused on performing well for Luzern.
