Apple has set the release date for its highly anticipated documentary about Billie Eilish. Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurrywill premiere in theaters and on Apple TV+ in February.
R.J. Cutler (Belushi, The September Issue) directed the Apple Original Films doc, which was produced by Interscope Films, Darkroom, This Machine and Lighthouse Management & Media.
The doc was first announced in 2019, garnering headlines for its reportedly massive $25 million price tag. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter dominated the most recent Grammy Awards with her debut album,When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, winning best new artist, album of the year, record of the year, song of the year and best pop vocal album.
