Appeal for information after lurcher dog with recently docked tail is discovered on Lanarkshire street

The Scottish SPCA is appealing for information after a lurcher dog was handed in to its Lanarkshire Animal Rehoming and Rescue Centre.The male dog's tail had recently been docked, which is illegal.

It was discovered in the Wishaw area and brought to the centre at Bothwell Road in Hamilton on May 17. The dog was micro-chipped but the owner's information is out-dated.A member of the public handed the lurcher in to the centre after finding him on Meadowhead Road in Craigneuk.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
