Police have issued an appeal for information after four terrifying knife-point robberies over just two days in Bury town centre.
Three robberies were reported on Wednesday night, while one was reported yesterday afternoon. Officers said the first happened at around 8.30pm on Wednesday on Moor Street, near to Subway. READ MORE: Investigation launched after man shows up to A&E with gunshot wound The victim was approached by two males wearing balaclavas who pulled out a knife and demanded money from her.
The suspects ran off from the scene empty-handed. The victim described the offenders as being two Asian males who were wearing dark-coloured clothing and were of skinny build and around 5ft 10in tall.
Police said the second incident happened at around 8.40pm on the same evening, at the bottom of Brunswick Street at the junction with Moor Road and Hornby Street.
