Netflix is set to begin charging users more if they share their account with other households. The popular streaming platform is thought to be currently testing technology which will see subscribers pay an extra fee if there are others at different addresses using the account at the same time.

While Netflix has tolerated password sharing so far, it now looks set to ensure users pay an extra cost should they wish to share their login details with others.
