Antiques Roadshow's Wayne Colquhoun couldn't hide his shock when he came across a genuine slice of 'history' during the beloved BBC One programme.
The roadshow headed to Alexandra Gardens in Cardiff in the episode, where the experts were presented with numerous interesting items including unseen photographs of The Rolling Stones, a repurposed piece of silver jewellery from India and a collection of medals dating back to the Napoleonic War.
Amongst the artefacts, Wayne met a lady who had an impressive set of football memorabilia, sparking considerable excitement for the Liverpool-native antiques expert.
Her treasure trove included everything from badges and kits to photos.The woman revealed her dad, Iorweth Jones, had a career in football as a referee, notable for officiating a legendary 1973 clash between Liverpool FC and Leicester City.
