Ant McPartlin has been photographed for the first time since he suffered a "heavy fall" live on-air during Monday night's Britain's Got Talent semi-final.The TV presenter, 47, took a dramatic tumble as he slid onto stage following an opening number performed by 2009 winners, London-based dance group Diversity, fronted by Dancing On Ice judge, Ashley Banjo.
Following the fall, Ant told viewers: "Ouch, my back. Wow, if you didn't catch that on telly, that was quite a heavy fall." After the show, Ant was photographed departing from London's Hammersmith Apollo, with the snap showing off the presenter's swollen and cut face.
Sat in his car as he left the venue, Ant could clearly be seen sporting a sizeable bruise on his cheek. Despite this, the star was all smiles as headed home.
Following his fall, Ant's co-presenter Declan Donnelly struggled to contain his laughter, before asking his pal: "Are you okay?" To which Ant quipped: "I think I wet myself and farted at the same time!" Judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tonioli and Alesha Dixon also picked up on the blunder, standing up to check if the host was hurt.
