thesun.co.ukANT McPartlin's ex-wife enjoyed a luxury hotel break with her lover as the telly host prepared to remarry. Lisa Armstrong, 44, and beau James Green, 38, checked into five star Pale Hall Hotel on the edge of Snowdonia in Wales.
She posted a snap of their bed with the caption: "Well, if it was good enough for Queen Victoria it's a yes from me!!!" Winston Churchill also stayed there when it was a private estate.
It is now one of the country's top country house hotels. Guests are promised "a quiet retreat, comfort and culinary indulgence".
The hotel boasts 18 "luxurious, individually styled bedrooms with sumptuous décor". There are a further four "charming garden suites" situated within the estate grounds.
