Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway live show axed amid coronavirus outbreak

Last night's Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway aired live last night with one big change - there was no studio audience.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly were seen hosting the ITV show, which usually has a lively audience, to a bare studio amid the current coronavirus outbreak and self-distancing and isolation guidelines.

The stars, who also hosts Britain's Got Talent and I'm A Celebrity, were forced to instead perform to their TV crew and used canned laughter effects.

It has now be confirmed that the rest of the series won't be broadcast live. At the end of last night's show, Dec, 44, said: "Join us next week, when we won't be live but we will be back on your screens with the conclusion of 'Men In Brown' for our grand finale." The
