A tourist has mysteriously vanished just moments away from Bangkok airport, in the latest case of a missing Brit abroad. Simon Robinson, 27, from Skegness, Lincolnshire, was set to return to the UK on Friday 26 July but failed to catch his flight from Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok.
His phone last pinged in the city before going dark, with no further contact with friends or family. His anxious loved ones have reached out to the British Embassy in Bangkok for assistance in locating him.
As the search continues without success, they've taken to social media in hopes of finding Simon. His sister Sarah Robinson-Dale revealed on Sunday that they're awaiting updates from Interpol and the embassy. "All anyone can do at the moment is if you are in Bangkok and see him contact the police or ask Simon to call me and if you’re in another country just keeping sharing the picture.
As soon as I have any information I will update on here. Forever grateful let’s get Simon home," she wrote on Facebook.
