Annabel Croft says husband's death bed comment 'broke her heart'

Initially seeking medical advice for a pain in his side, it was discovered that he had advanced colon cancer that had metastasised extensively.In an emotional piece for The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Annabel detailed how despite being told by doctors there was "no hope" of survival, alternative treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and a ketogenic diet led to a significant reduction in his liver tumours, from 97% to 70%.The couple then decided to travel to Portugal, hoping for some respite.
However, Annabel now regrets the decision, as Mel passed away just three weeks after their trip. She believes the flight may have exacerbated his condition, causing a perforated bowel and subsequent sepsis, reports the Express.
But it is Mel's last words that have left a lasting impact on Annabel. She recounts: "I have traumatic flashbacks of the day Mel died.
