Angry mob smash police car up and torch bus as riot chaos caught on camera

A rioting mob smashed up a police car and torched a bus in chaotic scenes caught on camera. Police were called to deal with a disturbance involving kids and agency workers.But a crowd gathered and more officers were drafted in when trouble flared.

Footage posted on social media showed groups rioting and the extent of the carnage they caused.In one video, a youngster was seen lobbing a scooter at a car, while others shook the vehicle from side to side.

Footage live streamed on social media showed a large crowd of people surrounding a fire in the middle of the road at around 9.10pm.Riot police then arrived at the scene in Leeds at around 9.30pm causing the large crowd to move away.

The Mirror reports the initial disturbance had broken out in the Yorkshire city at around 5pm.It's understood the initial "disturbance" involved "some children" and agency workers and saw them evacuated were taken to a safe place as "pockets of disorder" started to emerge.The grim footage posted on social media showed large groups of people rioting in the Harehills area of the city.
