Angie Stone Dead at 63, Singer Passes Away in Car Accident

Angie Stone has sadly passed away in a car accident. The singer – known as a member of the hip-hop group The Sequence, the R&B group Vertical Hold and as a solo artist – was 63. Angie‘s daughter Ladi Diamond confirmed the news and reacted in a series of posts on social media. Keep reading to find out more… “My mommy is gone,” she wrote on Facebook.

She noted that she was “feeling numb” and also acknowledged support that she and her family had been receiving. “Thanks for the outpouring of love today,” she wrote. “I’m not taking any calls right now i need to decompress.” A representative for the singer also confirmed the news with People.

The outlet reported that she was involved in a crash with an 18-wheeler truck on March 1. Angie‘s final studio album – Love Language – arrived in 2023.

It was supported by singles “Kiss You,” “The Gym” and “Good Man.” Her most recent acting project was an appearance in 2023′s Heaux Phase.
