Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has spoken of the importance of honouring her adopted children's roots. The Maleficent star, 45, has three adopted children with her ex-husband and fellow Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt.
They are Maddox Chivan, 18, Pax Thien, 16, and Zahara Marley, 15. Brad and Angelina also have three biological children: daughter Shiloh, 14, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Speaking to Vogue, Angelina discussed how she wanted to make sure her children felt their geographic and cultural origins were being honoured.
