Angelina Jolie Attends Biden's Signing of Violence Against Women Act at the White House

Angelina Jolie is observing a significant political moment in person. The signing authorizes all current VAWA grant programs until 2027. Angelina has been a vocal supporter of the legislation, and spoke at a news conference urging lawmakers to renew the VAWA last month, via The Hill. “Standing here at the center of our nation’s power, I can think only of everyone who has been made to feel powerless by their abusers by a system that failed to protect them,” she said at the time.
