Ange Postecoglou has jetted his Tottenham stars out to Australia - and he's been keen to show his positive side on a return to familiar territory.The former Socceroos boss is set to kick off his reign at the North London club this week in a friendly with West Ham United at the Optus Stadium in Perth.
With pre-season preparations well underway, the former Celtic boss was guest of honour at Government House - the official residence of the governor of Western Australia - as officials greeted both him and David Moyes.And the 57-year-old was in the mood for joking around.
He quipped 'I actually negotiated that as part of my contract that the first game' before pointing outward to the room in relation to his first match being in Perth.
Then, looking directly at governor Chris Dawson to deliver his next quip, met with laughter in the room. Postecoglou said: "Thank you for inviting us to your digs, nice place here!
