It was a pleasant return from injury for Andy Robertson on Wednesday night. The Scotland skipper made his club comeback as he come on for Liverpool off the bench in their Champions League mauling of Rangers at Ibrox.
The full back was introduced as a second half substitute for Kostas Tsimikas, after over a month on the sidelines. Robertson was forced to sit out some huge games after picking up a knock against Napoli.
But the 28-year-old's return could not have gone any better as Liverpool ran out 7-1 winners in Govan on Wednesday. Jurgen Klopp's men netted six goals in the second half after a promising first half from the Light Blues that saw that sides go in one goal a piece at the break.
And the boyhood Celtic fan could not resist a cheeky dig about the famous Ibrox atmosphere, claiming that Liverpool managed to 'quieten' the home support 'down quite quickly' after Firmino stepped up to equalise.
