The post came after it emerged the couple had been fired by ABC after bosses finally made a decision about their future - three months after DailyMail.com revealed their illicit off-screen affair.

The TV anchors were unable to reach an agreement with the network over their roles at Good Morning America and their GMA afternoon show but bosses say 'several productive conversations' were had with the pair.The hosts were accused of having an affair by their respective partners, with Holmes officially filing for divorce in January.
