Andrew Scott Visits the Theatre for His New York Stage Return!

Andrew Scott will be back on the New York stage this spring and he visited the theatre this week! The Emmy-nominated actor was photographed standing outside the Lucille Lortel Theatre to promote his play Vanya on Wednesday (March 5) in New York City. Andrew won multiple awards for his work in the new Chekhov adaptation when he performed the play in London.

Now, N.Y. audiences will get the chance to experience the groundbreaking show as well! “I’m so honored to be in this historic theatre on this historic street, and really excited by how intimate it is.

I genuinely believe this is a masterpiece of a play, and I don’t use that word lightly,” Andrew said in a statement. Andrew co-created the play with adaptor Simon Stephens, designer Rosanna Vize and director Sam Yates.
