Andrea Corr opens up about the ‘intensity’ of fame and how it impacted her

The Guardian newspaper: ‘It made me more self-conscious and shy. You always want it to last, but I don’t think we could have taken the intensity.’The band is made up of Andrea and her two sisters, Caroline and Sharon and their brother Jim.Speaking about looking back on that time  to which she replied: ‘Sometimes I feel like I’m watching somebody that isn’t me anymore, which it isn’t, I suppose.’‘We lived and breathed that life.

Now I live and breathe another life.’Andrea also explained how she felt that her brother was left out of the intense scrutiny that the women were subject to, as she remembers people comparing the sisters as they sat together during interviews.She said: ‘He was spared the competition because he was a boy.
