Ana de Armas Looks *Just* Like Marilyn Monroe in the New Blonde Trailer

The film, directed by Andrew Dominik, is based on the novel by Joyce Carole Oates, which explores the star's inner life and posits that Monroe was actually assassinated. “The film moves along with her feelings and her experiences," Ana de Armas tells "There are moments when we are inside of her body and mind, and this will give the audience an opportunity to experience what it was like to be Norma and Marilyn at the same time.”That said, the movie is not completely fantasy.
In new images, we see filmmakers meticulously recreating iconic shots of the actor and Joe DiMaggio, played by Bobby Cannavale, as well as Monroe's performance of “Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend” in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.Adrien Brody stars as another of Marilyn's love interests, the playwright Arthur Miller, while Xavier Samuel and Evan Williams play two of Marilyn's actor contemporaries, Cass Chaplin and Eddy G.
