Amir Khan shows off 'flash £1.9m' watch as he puts Bolton wedding hall on market with £12.5m pricetag

Amir Khan has flaunted a flash new watch hours after putting his Bolton wedding venue up for sale. The former boxing ace today (Friday) announced he has put his wedding hall on the market for a whopping £12.5 million - just months after it hosted its first nuptials.

Plans were first submitted for the venue named The Balmaya - which translates as “enamelled” in Arabic - in 2013. Initial construction of the site off Deane Road was completed in 2015 but it has since been hit by delays and even damaged by a fire.

Khan said at that time that the "booking sheet was full" for future events. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, in the early hours of this morning, Amir, who announced his retirement from the boxing ring in May 2022, revealed he was ‘looking to sell’ the wedding hall for £12.5 million.
