An American serial killer who was executed by lethal injection vowed to return from the dead when asked if she had any last words.Aileen Wuornos uttered the chilling final message just moments before her execution in Florida in 2002 after spending a decade on death row.Witnesses in the execution room said Wournos was smiling as said: "Yes, I would just like to say I'm sailing with the rock, and I'll be back, like Independence Day, with Jesus.

June 6, like the movie. Big mother ship and all, I'll be back, I'll be back."Wournos was handed six death sentences for shooting and killing seven men between 1989 and 1990.

She was taken into custody in January 1991, the Mirror reports. She claimed she had killed the men in self-defence while she was a sex worker, saying they had all either raped her or attempted to do so.She was found guilty of the murder of Richard Mallory but eventually confessed to the other six to the authorities in late 1991.Showing an egregious lack of remorse, she said: "I killed those men, robbed them as cold as ice.

And I'd do it again, too. There's no chance in keeping me alive or anything, because I'd kill again. I have hate crawling through my system."Wournos dodged a murder charge on her seventh victim Peter Siems as his body was never found, but her hand print was discovered on the interior of his car.She spent a decade on death row at Florida Department of Corrections Broward Correctional Institute and in 2001, she said keeping her alive was a waste of money and urged the state of Florida to execute her.Wournos vowed she would continue to offend if she was released and said there was no point sparing her life.
