Can you believe it has been 20 years since American Idol premiered?! The show’s current judges – Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie – stepped out for a 20th anniversary celebration on Monday night (April 18) at Desert 5 Spot in Los Angeles.

The party took place after the Top 14 reveal on season 20. On the red carpet, Katy talked about what it’s like to work with the contestants.
