"American Graffiti" is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Since the release of the film five decades ago, it has gone on to be considered an American cinema classic.
While the 1973 movie was made on a budget of less than $1 million, it earned $115 million at the box office worldwide and was nominated for five Academy Awards, including best picture.
