America Ferrera won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series back in 2007 for her work in Ugly Betty, but she says wasn’t able to enjoy the night.

It was a historic win for America as she was the first Latina woman to win the category. America is now opening up about the moment in an interview on the Armchair Expert podcast. “When I won the Emmy, I can’t bring myself to watch that because the only thing I remember about being on that stage, accepting that Emmy, was the feeling that no one in the room thought I deserved it,” she said (via ET Canada). “And that’s a shame.” “[I was thinking] ‘She doesn’t really deserve that.
