An inquest has been held into the death of an "amazing father" who tragically died after collapsing in a pub.Paul Hughes, aged 56, passed away on May 30, 2021, after collapsing in the boozer.
The retired labourer, from Holywell, Wales, died from alcohol toxicity and fatty liver disease at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital just two hours after the fall, which occurred just before 11pm on May 29.
North Wales Live reports that Mr Hughes had just "got his life back together", according to a woman who is employed at the Boars Head, and was living with his teenage daughter at the time.
The pair were "immensely happy in each other's company" and Paul's life had changed considerably for the better as a result, his brother told the court.His daughter had gone to stay with relatives at the time.
