Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen, 47, gave fans a glimpse into life on the farm as she revealed that she had some sweet news to share with them.Speaking to her 188,300 Twitter followers, she revealed that family had welcomed a calf for the New Year.Amanda tweeted: “Buttercup the house cow has calved.“She’s a quiet, docile and very greedy dairy shorthorn that will provide enough milk for her calf and her household,” she added, with milk emojis.
The shepherdess also attached some photographs below to give her followers a glimpse into the calving process. Two of the Owen children were wrapped up warm in their hats and coats to help Amanda deliver the calf.
The snowy Yorkshire hills could be seen behind them, demonstrating what a cold night it must have been to birth the adorable calf.
