Amanda Owen left scrambling for 'last remaining chicken' amid risk of 'danger' on farm

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has told fans she was ready to catch their last chicken following potential bird flu danger at Ravenseat.The 48-year-old shared pictures of her daughter Nancy attempting to catch the chicken which was stood next to pigeons outside.Taking to her Twitter, she wrote: "Poised, ready to catch the last remaining chicken."Anyway, no point getting in a flap about it. #yorkshire #chickenrun #trap."Many of her 205,000 followers flocked to her post to comment on Nancy's efforts.

The risk of catching the HPAI virus increases during the winter."Now Nancy rules the roost," she added in a tweet to fans.She went on to tell her followers that her daughter was off sick from school, but wanted to help out on the farm.Amanda shares nine children, Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy with her estranged husband Clive Owen.

The former couple announced their separation back in June, but they remain focused on raising their children and running the farm.They were married for 22 years and both star on the hit Channel 5 show together.Announcing their split on social media at the time, she told fans it was a "difficult decision".
