Amanda Holden revealed her husband told her “you’ve got to stop” after she confessed to something rather controversial.The 53-year-old mum-of-two told Heart Radio she has already completed her Christmas shopping, expecting her final present to drop through the door on Wednesday.

And while Amanda appeared delighted by the news on her breakfast show, it seems husband Chris Hughes was less enthusiastic.She explained the couple’s family home contains “so many packages” as she continues her festive shopping.

Amanda’s confession came as caller Ashley revealed she was “so excited” when she spotted her first Christmas tree of winter 2024 while stuck in traffic on Old Kent Road in London.To which Amanda replied: “Everything’s going up in my house on November 15.

I might go even earlier.“And I’ve finished my Christmas shopping. That’s what I told my husband because there’s so many packages in my house, he’s like ‘gosh Mandy, you’ve got to stop, you’re haemorrhaging’.“And I went ‘I’ve finished my Christmas shopping’ and I looked him in the eye when I said it.
