Amanda, 53, however, told Heart Breakfast listeners she also took rescue dog Minnie along to the pub on the date, as she didn't want to leave the pup home alone.
It was while the Britain's Got Talent judge was trying to find a place for Minnie to rest that she struck up conversation with another diner.Amanda said: “Me and Chris had a rare dinner on our own, well, I took Minnie to be honest, I took the puppy because I didn’t want to leave her behind.
We went to Fifty Cheyne which is a really gorgeous pub and, oh my god, the food is amazing there and they’re lovely in there.“We sat down and I noticed that, next to me, there was a man on his own.
