Amanda Holden has claimed she extended an olive branch to Phillip Schofield over their infamous rift - but says he ghosted her.

The Britain's Got Talent judge fell out with Phil, who announced his departure from This Morning on Saturday, over an apparent snub for a guest presenter role on the ITV daytime show.

Speaking to her co-star Jamie Theakston on their Heart Breakfast radio show on Wednesday, Amanda, 52, said that she had tried to smooth things over with the TV star in 2019 by asking him to meet for a coffee, but revealed that he "didn't reply".

Amanda had spoken in the past about a spat with Phil, who she had previously guest presented This Morning with, claiming she was passed over as a replacement for Holly Willoughby during her 2018 stint hosting I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
