Brits are experiencing a very different Mothering Sunday today, as the nation’s sons and daughters have been warned to keep away from mum during the coronavirus pandemic.

Boris Johnson called off the traditional event which allows mums to put their feet up while their children prepare lunch. Celebs have joined the rest of the population in staying away from mums, opting to post gushing tributes on social media instead.

Dan Osbourne lead the rush of loving messages, with a note to his wife Jacqueline Jossa. The former TOWIE star praised his wife “an amazing mummy” in a post featuring pictures of their daughters Ella and Mia.
