Manchester United talent Amad Diallo has penned a loan deal with Rangers until the end of the season. The prospect has signed on until the end of the season with the Scottish Premiership leaders as Gio van Bronckhorst boosts his attacking options.

The Ibrox side are on the hunt for a replacement for Ianis Hagi who won't play again this season due to injury. Van Bronckhorst had said after that he wanted one more signing before Monday's transfer deadline to replace the Romanian and has got his man.And the Rangers boss said after sealing the deal: “I am really pleased to add Amad to our squad for the rest of the season.“He is a player who I have been aware of for some time, and when the opportunity to sign him came up, we very keen to make it happen.“He will add a lot to our squad and provide even more competition for the players in the forward areas.”The Ivorian winger penned a deal with United back in January 2021 from Italian giants Atalanta for a fee in the region of $20m.He would have left United on loan last summer but a proposed switch to Dutch side Feyenoord fell through when he suffered a training injury.A host of English Championship and Serie A clubs had been interested in snapping up the 19-year-old this month before deadline day, but Rangers have won the race for his signature.Diallo has made just one has only made one senior appearance for the Old Trafford side this season and United are now keen for him receive regular game time.
