David Moyes is remaining tight-lipped over a possible move for Jesse Lingard to West Ham in the summer. The winger came close to joining Newcastle on loan during the January transfer window, only for Manchester United to block the move late on deadline day.
Instead, Lingard will remain at Old Trafford for the rest of the season before his contract runs out in the summer, when he’s expected to leave the club for free.
West Ham have long held an interest in Lingard, having taken him on a successful loan spell last season which brought the 29-year-old back into contention for the England squad ahead of Euro 2020.
