Alya calls police and packs Yasmeen's bags after exposing Geoff as an abuser on Coronation Street

Alya Nazir has got the measure of abuser Geof Metcalfe - and next week on Corrie she's had enough. Tonight Alya rumbled Geoff as the person writing bad reviews about the family restaurant Speed Daal, but unfortunately her gran Yasmeen believed her husband's denials.

Next week Alya is shocked when a valuer calls at Speed Daal and reveals that Geoff has hired him as he and Yasmeen are selling their share of the business, and her gran reveals that they’re moving to Cyprus.

A horrified Alya tells Yasmeen it’s clear Geoff is abusing her and trying to separate her from the people who care about her.

Desperate to rescue Yasmeen from his clutches, Alya grabs some of her gran's clothes and starts stuffing them into a bag. Alya begs Yasmeen to leave
