Alphonso Davies is quick. Anyone who has watched Bayern Munich over the last few weeks - and at any point throughout this season - will be fully aware of that.
The 19-year-old full-back has already established a reputation as one of world football’s best sprinters. He is able to race back from seemingly any position to recover the ball for his side, and did so on a couple of occasions during his side’s 1-0 Bundesliga win over Borussia Dortmund late last month.
The standout instance was when Davies, having been caught out of position, raced back to dispossess Erling Haaland, who looked to be bearing down on goal.
