Rangers in fancy dress and revealed Glaswegians were often unaware of who was under the costumes. Before the advent of covid and lockdown across parts of the country it was traditional for players to cut lose and have a night on the town.
And McCoist was a big fan of celebrating the festive season by going out with his Ibrox teammates in costume, often taking on the part of Henry the 8th and even going as Barney Rubble and a Roman centurion.
Asked if he enjoys fancy dress, he told talkSPORT: "Oh yes. We used to do fancy dress every Christmas Party. I used to go as Henry the 8th."And probably the size of me I'd make a very good Henry right now!"I did a very good Barney Rubble one year but the best thing is we used to go out and have a right.
