Rangers legend Ally McCoist has branded the headbutt from Ibrox women's assistant boss Craig McPherson on Celtic boss Fran Alonso as "very poor".
It was a blockbuster derby showdown at Broadwood Stadium as Celtic remained second in the league after rescuing the game with a 99th-minute leveller from Caitlin Hayes after Brogan Hay's first-half strike had looked to be enough for Malky Thomson's side.
However, it's the incidents after full-time that dominated the post-match talking points after McPherson appeared to headbutt Hoops boss Alonso as he shook hands with the players.
Alonso stated after the full-time whistle he was also called "a little rat". McCoist reckons it sums up a terrible few days for the Glasgow giants, as he pointed to the the flashpoint during Steven Gerrard's celebrations during Liverpool legends clash with Celtic. The former Ibrox boss was targeted by missiles as he celebrated scoring at Anfield.
