Grinning Ally McCoist has swerved a goading dig from Celtic diehard Alan Brazil over the prospect of Rangers giving the newly-crowned Scottish champions a guard of honour.
Ange Postecoglou's side travel to Ibrox in their first clash since claiming their second consecutive Scottish Premiership title under the Australian, with the Light Blues having the first chance to applaud the champions on to the park.
However, the tradition has been scrapped when the Glasgow rivals face off in recent seasons. In 2019, Neil Lennon's side had secured their eighth title in a row ahead of facing Steven Gerrard's Rangers at Ibrox.
The Light Blues, with current boss Michael Beale as a coach, opted against the guard of honour. The favour was returned after Celtic's bid for 10 consecutive league titles was brought to an abrupt end when John Kennedy was leading the side on an interim basis at Celtic Park.
